July 28, 2016 What Does It Mean When Time Seems to Be Moving Faster?
You sit and look at the clock embracing the time you are investing in this moment. With a positive intention, you welcome all that is coming your way understanding that it’ll be done soon. You keep yourself distracted from the boredom you feel by doodling on a piece of paper. As you feel entertained, you look at the clock to count down the last remaining minutes of your time commitment. Like a horse kick to the stomach you realize it’s only been 5 minutes! In frustration, you think to yourself, “This is going to be a long and dreadful day.”
We’ve all had those times where we felt that time stood still. If time is moving at all, it seems to be moving backwards! This creates such emotional agony. It brings forth feelings of anxiety, impatience, and frustration. We’d rather be anywhere but here. The sound of the clock ticking away makes you feel like a ticking time bomb ready to explode!
“The two most powerful warriors are patience and time.” – Leo Tolstoy
Time rules our lives. Our entire day is revolved around the clock. Wake up 6am. Breakfast 7am. Out the door by 7:30am. Each combination of numbers tells us where we have to be and what we will be doing. We carry anxiety and stress because we are enslaved by the clock.
“The Hurrier I go, the behinder I get.” – The White Rabbit.
In having full control of us, it really depicts the quality of each moment we experience. When we are bored we find time going ultra slow. In moments of intense excitement and fun, it seems like it’s running away from us. Why couldn’t it be the opposite?! It can be very challenging to consider why time goes fast when we don’t want it to and slow when we want it to go fast.
“The bad news is time flies. The good new is you’re the pilot.” – Michael Altshuler
We can’t control time, but we can control our experience within the moment. There are 2 lessons we can take from being aware of our perception of time. The first one is that if time is going slow, it provides an opportunity for us to re-strategize our lives. When time drags its heels, it’s usually because we are very bored and disengaged in whatever we are doing. This is a great time to allow our thoughts to have reign over us and be creative in visualizing things that would stimulate us more.
“Boredom is God’s way of telling you that you’re wasting time.”
When we are bored we tend to be very creative with our fantasies. We will think of anything no matter how abstract just to distract us and entertain us from the moment that bores us. When our lives are busy, we may not have the time to be bored and creative. It’s like with all the demands of our lives that boredom is a luxury we can’t afford.
Time flies when you’re in divine timing.
The second lesson is that when time moves fast, it’s because we are aligned with our higher frequency. Time always flies when we are having fun because our awareness is within the present moment, not thinking of the past or future. This is a moment of high frequency which means that we are connecting with our higher consciousness without meditating.
“Then God said, “Let there be light” and there was light.” – Genesis 1:3
Everything in the universe is made up of light energy. When the frequency of light is slowed down it creates physical matter. When energy is sped up it’s formless and free. The denser the frequency, the slower we will perceive time. The moments where time seems to run away from us is when we are synchronized with our spirit. This is divine timing because we are vibrating at a high frequency, and it enhances the communication with our spirit.
“Can you hear me now?”
When this line of communication is established, it becomes the greatest asset to our lives. It provides insight as to our life purpose. So many of us may feel lost and confused about what we are meant to be doing in life. This communication also provides insights on the deepest questions we think about. It also provides a time of emotional, energetic, and physical healing.
Time discovers truth.
The vibration of light is the highest vibration. This is where we want to be at all times. Although time seems to fly by at this time, it’s a great blessing. When we vibrate at such a frequency, we become closer to the light energy, and we understand that time is just an illusion. There is no start and end to time; it continues to move through eternity.
“Time is too slow for those who wait, too swift for those who fear, too long or those who grieve, too short for those who rejoice, but for those who love, time is eternity.” – Henry Van Dyke
